Matcha & Dark Chocolate Berry Bark
With my newfound love of matcha and our long-time obsession with cold, chocolate-covered blueberries, I just knew I had to make this beautiful berry bark by @eatsbyrachel when it showed up in my feed.
No notes.
No changes.
Except a MUCH bigger pinch of Maldon Salt.
Obviously.
here’s what you’ll need
1 cup blackberries
1 cup blueberries
1.5 tbsp matcha powder
here’s what you’ll need to do
Rinse berries and allow to dry completely.
Place dry berries in a single layer on a parchment-lined sheet tray, making sure there are small cracks between the berries that the chocolate can trickle into.
Place white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds at a time until melted, giving the chocolate a quick stir at every break.
Caution: The bowl and chocolate will be HOT when you remove it from the microwave.
Add matcha to the bowl of melted white chocolate and stir to incorporate.
Drizzle matcha white chocolate over the berries.
Place dark chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and heat for 30 seconds at a time until melted, giving the chocolate a quick stir at every break.
Caution: Again, the bowl and chocolate will be HOT when you remove it from the microwave.
Drizzle dark chocolate over the berries, making sure all of the berries are covered in some kind of chocolate.
Sprinkle generously with sea salt flakes.
Chill in the fridge for a couple hours, and enjoy!
