Butter Burger Sliders
I don’t always eat butter by the tablespoon, but when I do, it’s because I’m smashing a Butter Burger Slider (or two).
Woo hoo!
here’s what you’ll need
1 lb ground beef
King’s Hawaiian slider buns
American cheese slices
1 onion, finely diced
butter
salt
pepper
here’s what you’ll need to do
Form ground beef into slider-sized patties. Season both sides of the patties with salt and pepper, then let rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.
Toast buns until golden, and set aside.
In a sauté pan over medium heat, melt a tablespoon of butter.
Add onions and cook until soft, golden, and translucent. Remove from the pan and set aside.
In that same pan, gently lay in the burger patties.
Sear without moving until the bottoms are browned and crusty. Flip, then cook another few minutes, adjusting for patty size and your preferred doneness.
During the last minute of cooking, top each patty with a slice of American cheese.
Now it’s time to assemble!
Place each patty on a toasted bottom bun. Pile on the buttery onions, add another little pat of butter (because that’s the whole point), and cap with the top bun.
Take a moment to watch the butter drip down, and enjoy!
